Overview

Introduction:

This course is designed for health care professionals which are required to have proficiency in treating cardiac emergencies and ACLS training as a condition of hospital privileges, and/or employment.  A pre-course self-assessment is required prior to attending class. Prerequisites: Basic EKG knowledge and current BLS certification is required. 2015, new, AHA ACLS books are available for purchase fromo the CWL office for $40.  (7 hrs)

Materials:

2015, new, AHA ACLS books are available for purchase from the CWL office for $40.

Prior to Class Students MUST:

Complete the Pre-Course Self-Assessment (pre-test) found online at www.heart.org/eccstudent. The access code for the website is found at the bottom of page ii of your ACLS Provider Manual ("acls15").  Books are $40 and may be picked up at CWL office prior to class. Upon completion, print out your score sheet and bring it to class.  If you do not complete this pre-test, you will not be eligible to participate in the course.
