Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal

In order to receive a refund, or if you need to withdraw or transfer classes, you must submit your request by email to Tasheena Taylor at taylorta@grayson.edu, at least 7 business days prior to the course start date.

Introduction:

This course is designed for health care professionals who have previously completed the ACLS provider course. (6 hrs)

Prerequisites:

Student must have current BLS and ACLS certification.  Please be prepared to show your current BLS and ACLS certification cards at the time of sign-in at class. You must bring both cards to class with you or you will not be allowed admittance. A pre-course self-assessment is required (see below for details).

Materials:

  • Books are available for purchase from the CWL office for $40.

 Prior to Class Students MUST:

Complete the Pre-course Self-Assessment found online at www.heart.org/eccstudent.  The access code for the website is found at the bottom of page ii of your ACLS Provider Manual (“acls15”).  Upon completion, print out your score sheet and bring it to class.  If you do not complete this pre-test, you will not be eligible to participate in the course.
