Overview

Introduction:

Instructor: Sgt. Paxton Emerson In this course, students review current laws and recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions regarding the application and use of proper procedures affecting probable cause, legal elements of a search warrant, drafting a search warrant, arrest with or without a warrant, and warrantless searches. This course meets current TCOLE license mandates for #2108. (16 hours)

  • Monday & Tuesday, Dec 2nd & 3rd - 8 am to 5 pm daily OR;
  • Monday & Tuesday, Dec 12th & 13th - 8 am to 5 pm daily
  • Main Campus, Criminal Justice Building, Academy Classroom (SC-106)
