Overview

Arrest, Search, and Seizure #2108 Asset Forfeiture/ Racial Profiling #3257 and ID Theft #3277 This course is designed to provide Texas Peace Officers an understanding of Asset Forfeiture rules and considerations and the impact Texas and federal asset forfeiture programs have on crime and criminals. Additionally, we discuss the various aspects of prejudices, and how officers can operate effectively without being influenced by local or personal prejudices. This course also prepares investigators with the knowledge and skills of how to handle identity crimes while best serving the victims of identity theft within their immediate community and beyond.  This course meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements for Asset Forfeiture/ Racial Profiling # 3257 and Identity Theft Course #3277.
